BeachSide Slings Hawaiian slings are made from pine block which is turned down using a precision lathe. All holes are center drilled by machine lathe and each sling is coated with three coats of varnish. **Temporary Production Halt**
Despite increased demand for our Hawaiian Slings I am halting production from now through the month of September for individual orders of less than 5. This halt is due to the fact that I am in the process of finishing a thesis and need to put 100% of my efforts into that. Using precision lathe technoloy we are able to maintain the highest in quality management found in Hawaiian Sling manufacturing. Our workshop allows us to constantly modify our design and produce slings at a reasonable rate while keeping cost to a minimum. As of now we DO NOT sell sling shafts however there is a vast selection of different sizes online. We recommend using 9/32" or 5/16" diameter shafts anywhere from 60 - 70 inches in length and made from spring steel. These are very common shafts and can be found in most dive shops or online.
